<![CDATA[<p>The battery light does not come on to indicate charging, or the battery will not charge; what's wrong?</p><p><BLOCKQUOTE>Several things might cause this condition:<BR>

<LI>Battery may be fully charged already
<LI>Ensure that the AC power cord is connected to the notebook and the wall outlet
<LI>Was the battery pack exposed to temperature extremes? If so, allow time for the battery to reach room temperature.
<LI>Battery may be dead</LI></UL><BR>If the first three situations are not the case, bring the laptop to the Help Desk for examination by Laptop Services.
