I've received an email that I believe has an attachment, but it's not there. What do I do?
1) Click on the message. Then click the File menu and select Save Attachments. A menu will open in which there will be an entry that says none. Click on this entry and the Save Attachment dialogue box will pop up with the correct name of the attachment in the Save As field. Save it somewhere where you will remember (such as your personal directory).
2) You can use the Exchange web interface to check your messages and get attachments.
3) Outlook will automatically remove attachments with certain file extensions, such as .com or .exe. The easiest way to obtain your attachment is to ask the sender to rename the file before sending it. If the sender can compress the file into a .zip file, Outlook will not remove it.
