<![CDATA[<p>Why use an AFS group?</p><p>AFS groups are useful in many situations, including (but not limited to) the maintenance of web pages for a campus organization and common directories for project teams. For example, a campus club or group could use its AFS directory (<TT>\\afs\rose-hulman.edu\users\groups\MyGroup</TT>) to store the club's web pages or hold any club documents that need to be shared among members. An AFS group named <TT>MyGroup</TT>, which has full access to this directory, contains the members of the club that are allowed to modify the web pages.
