<![CDATA[<p>What are the system requirements for using <STRONG>web</STRONG><EM>Café</EM>?</p><p><span id="bodyfont"><p>The basic requirements for logging in to <strong>web</strong><em>Café</em> are:</p>

<li>enrollment or membership in at least one <strong>web</strong><em>Café</em> room used in academics at Wharton (<em>note</em>: membership in a Wharton club does not mean that <strong>web</strong><em>Café</em> access is necessarily <a href="http://supportcenteronline.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=658&task=knowledge&questionID=131" target="support">available</a>);</li>
<li>a compatible Web browser with cookies and JavaScript enabled:

<p>Incompatible web browsers include IE 5.x or earlier, Netscape, Opera 8 or earlier, MSN Explorer, Konqueror, and the AOL built-in browser (although you can try connecting to AOL, minimizing your AOL window and then using one of the compatible browsers). Google Chrome and Opera 9.x are not officially supported but can be compatible with basic viewing and file downloading; with Chrome, you may need to right-click PDF filenames and choose <em>Save Link As...</em> if they don't seem to open. <br />

<p>Unfortunately, most mobile-device browsers, including all known BlackBerry browsers, are not compatible because they lack <font size="2">capabilities <strong>web</strong><em>Café</em> needs in order to operate -- capabilities that are provided by desktop/laptop web browsers, such as Firefox. You may find that you can access <strong>web</strong><em>Café</em> using iPhone's Mobile Safari, some Windows Mobile 6 phones, and the Palm Pre's web browser (although file downloads are not available yet on Pre).</font></p>
<p>The eRoom plug-in software is not required for <strong>web</strong><em>Café</em>.</p>
