Is there a way to upload multiple files at once to webCafé?
Uploading multiple files with one operation can be done if your computer supports either the eRoom plug-in software or the WebDAV protocol (also known as Network Places/Web Folders). The eRoom plug-in is available only for Windows computers and cannot be used in Wharton's computing labs, only on your personal computer. Software that provides the WebDAV protocol is available for many operating systems including Linux and Mac OS. Either of these methods can also help when uploading a large file to webCafé using a slow connection. 1. eRoom plug-in software (Windows) The plug-in tutorial page has information about installing and activating the plug-in. Once you have the plug-in installed and activated, use these steps: After you make the selection, the plug-in will begin the upload. When it is complete, a folder with the same name as the one you are dragging/dropping will be created in webCafé, containing the uploaded files. 2. WebDAV (many operating systems) Many computer operating systems and third-party software tools include a way to connect to a webCafé room, folder, or other containers (such as calendar events, Notes or database rows) via the WebDAV protocol. In most cases, connecting via WebDAV provides a window showing just the files and folders in the webCafé room, folder, or container; drag/drop and copy/paste of multiple files and folders can usually be accomplished.

Press the No button. (The "connected set" option is useful only for specific interrelated files such as an HTML file and associated graphics. In that case only, press Yes.)
Note: For Windows Vista, as well as earlier Windows versions, third-party software called WebDrive can make a webCafé room, folder, or container appear as a drive letter in My Computer or Windows Explorer.
(As with the eRoom plug-in, WebDrive cannot be installed in Wharton's labs, classrooms or group study rooms.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please configure your Mac OS X not to place the .DS_Store file on network-connected folders. Apple explains the configuration here:

Panic Transmit (version 3.5 or higher) also works with WebDAV. Older versions of Mac OS may use the Goliath software.
For Konqueror, substitute webdav:// for http:// in eRoom URLs.
