<![CDATA[<p>I use AdSubtract to block pop-up ads. Can I make it work with <STRONG>web</STRONG><EM>Café</EM>?</p><p><P>AdSubtract has been known to block the <STRONG>web</STRONG><I>Café</I> login screen in Internet Explorer and is known to interfere with calendar functionality and other pop-up windows used in <STRONG><B>web</B></STRONG><EM>Café. (With Netscape 7 or Mozilla, AdSubtract has not been known to cause any problems with</EM> <STRONG><B>web</B></STRONG>Café<EM>; AdSubtract only works with Internet Explorer exclusively.)</EM></P>
<P>If AdSubtract is set up to block cookies or disable JavaScript, you won't be able to log on. You will be able to enter in your user name and password, but when you click the <SPAN style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cccccc">OK</SPAN> button, <STRONG><B>web</B></STRONG><I>Café</I> will stay at the login page -- no error messages will be seen.</P>
<P>Here's how to change AdSubtract's settings to work with <STRONG>web</STRONG><EM>Café</EM>:</P>
<P>1. Go to the system tray (area with icons usually at the bottom right of the screen, next to where you computer displays the current time) and click on the AdSubtract icon. The AdSubtract window will pop up.</P>

<P>2. Click on the <SPAN style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cccccc">Block</SPAN> icon on the left.</P>

<P>3. Uncheck <EM>Cookies </EM>and press <SPAN style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cccccc">OK</SPAN>.</P>

<P>3. Click the <EM>Filters</EM> tab on this screen, then uncheck External JavaScript and press <SPAN style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cccccc">OK</SPAN>.</P>
