<![CDATA[<p>After a course is over, or after I finish taking courses at Wharton, how long does <STRONG>web</STRONG><EM>Café</EM> remain accessible?</p><p><span id="bodyfont">
<p>Normally each course <strong>web</strong><em>Café</em> Classic room is accessible to current Wharton students for a "grace period" of approximately 15 months after the course's conclusion. This grace period can be shorter in the following circumstances:</p>
<ul>
<li>When the instructor asks for student membership to be removed earlier than the normal schedule (e.g., immediately after a course concludes).</li>
<li>When you are graduated from the University, in conjunction with your transition to alumni computing services (here is more information on <a href="http://spike.wharton.upenn.edu/support/wharcomp/graduate.cfm" target="support">account closure and transition for graduating students</a> from Wharton Computing Student Support).</li>
<li>When you are no longer taking Wharton classes and your computing account expires. </li>
</ul>
<p>Past course rooms will no longer appear in your SPIKE Course Schedule, but you may locate them using the <a href="http://webcafe.wharton.upenn.edu/eRoom" target="_top">My eRooms</a> page or by using the <em>Change Term</em> selector on any of the "By Department" listings reachable from our <a href="http://webcafe.wharton.upenn.edu/" target="_top">home page</a>.</p>
<p>Faculty will continue to have access to their course rooms for an additional few months beyond the end of the grace period for students. After that, our team will contact instructors about retiring old rooms to temporary offline storage. After the student access grace period, access by Wharton students who took a course is at the discretion of the instructor (with the exception of alumni, who cannot receive access due to licensing restrictions unless they are helping you teach a current course).</p>

<li>After your Wharton computing account is changed to work only with alumni computing services, access to <strong>web</strong><em>Café</em> Classic will not be possible unless you are also working at Wharton in a teaching capacity, have entered another Wharton degree program, or are taking a course post-graduation with special permission. <li>After the deadlines below for graduating students, or if your instructor chose to conclude student access sooner in a particular course room, access is only possible through a Wharton faculty member making a request to our team. </li>
