I just registered for a course or won a seat in the MBA Course Auction. Why can't I access the webCafé room for the course I am taking?
Once the semester has officially started, provided you have been enrolled for at least one day in a section of a Wharton course and already have a working Wharton computing account, generally you should be able to access the course's webCafé Classic room (if one was requested by the instructor) starting the next morning after registration. Note that webCafé Classic doesn't receive enrollments or Auction changes in "real time." The University sends us data on the previous business day's schedule changes made at PennInTouch, or by a school office, in overnight batches. These batches are processed in webCafé normally by 7am Eastern time. Notes: Feel free to contact us if you have a Wharton account and if your membership is delayed more than one day after you became registered, but please wait a day before contacting us if you have just added a course in PennInTouch today, won a course seat in the Auction this evening, or added the course at a school office earlier in the day. Thank you for your understanding.
